Eid is an Islamic religious festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide, which comes in two variations: Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan (a month of fasting), and Eid al-Adha, commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to God.
